Atma Sadhana - A Residency in Bir

This is the first residency by Tara Earth School, started by Kanupriya almost a year ago and recently joined by Sahil and me. Our intention is Regeneration through Reconnection. What does this mean? How do we reconnect with what makes us human — with the qualities that connect us to the sacred — using practice, or sadhana, as the instrument of this connection. Each residency is designed around a few core elements: - Bringing someone who is a carrier and holder of ancestral/ancient wisdom - Practices that integrate the mind, body and spirit - Connecting to the land and to the Earth through ritual and ceremony - Creating a living pathway through gatherings and trainings, so that the connection continues beyond the experience and into the midst of a stimulating life For this residency, we are bringing Hinoki Sensei, who has been carrying and sharing the medicine of Qi Gong, T’ai Chi, Tantra and Sound for the past 30 years. She will be supported by Kanupriya and me, as we share the ancient practice of Shamanic Journeying as a tool for self-healing and developing a deeper relationship with ourselves. Alongside these practices, we will spend time in the river, walk through the forests, visit the sacred sites of this land, and immerse ourselves in ritual and ceremony. With the intention of creating enough room for individual attention and keeping the energy of the group contained, we are limiting the residency to 12 participants.
